Well, as you may or may not know, Campbell River is the hometown of Rod Brind'Amour. He grew up and played hockey here, before becoming the captian of the Carolina Hurricanes. Well, due to their recent victory over Edmonton which gave them the Cup, each player gets a day with it. WELL.... IT WAS ACTUALLY HERE!! In Campbell River!! In sucky little nowhere town!! THE FUCKING STANLEY CUP! How cool is that??? Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to go to the ceremonies, but my friend Tanya went, and took lots of pics!

go there to see them. Anyway, it got me thinking. What if I become famous and successful one day? Will there be parades in my honor? Will the entire population of Campbell River gather in one place just to catch a glimpse of me?? Well, that would be sweet anyway. XD
